Pioneer Village – Osceola County Part IIII {Back To School}

One-Room Schoolhouse
As communities began to grow and become more structured, the early days of formal education were personified by the “one-room” schoolhouse. This was where grades 1-8 were cleverly taught simultaneously by a single teacher (literally and figuratively).

I hope you all have a wonderful school year…

  1. Az! I LOVE this post. Not only because of your beautiful photos, but the quotes as well. Little House was my favorite show growing up, and her books are some of my favorites to read out loud to my boys. I am working on some wall art using her words.
    The piano photo is one of my favorites 🙂

  2. What a beautiful post Az! Love all the pictures and now just want to watch the old reruns of Little House!!!!
